The Operative Mapping project supported the NGO Las Reinas Pepiadas and its Reinas Migrantes program, empowering women along migration routes in Latin America and promoting systemic change against gender-based violence.
We developed three types of maps: big data visualizations, real-time parametric maps, and testimony-based maps collected through the Reinas Migrantes platform,connecting lived experiences with the geopolitical dimensions of forced migration to inform, humanize, and support decision-making.
